I can't play games offline after the latest update

Have you tried just going to your network setting and switch to offline? You will have to go turn it back on, but if the game is an online game this method won't work cause you have to be online regardless. Hope this helps and have a great day. Feel free

As of now I seem to be able to play offline again. I removed and re added my console as my home console. I went offline and played a digital game with success. However a brand new dvd wouldn't work. So I tried the same dvd only online this time and still
no luck. Then I tried a diffrent dvd connected to xbox live the next day with no luck as well. But game discs would work with no issues. So then I reinstalled the blu ray app. Now the dvd loads but I get a message saying the disc wasn't a dvd or blu ray.
I then closed the blu ray app and relaunched it and the movie worked lol. Finally thhis morning I tried the first dvd offline and now it loads like there wasn't any problems to begin with.

So my advice to anyone having trouble playing offline is to re add your console as your home console even if you have never switched it before. Then reinstall the blu ray app. Oh and you might as well restart your console afterwards. If you have never
removed and re added your home console before, the entire process can take close to two minutes. I thought my xbox froze but it just takes a little bit of time

have you checked to see if the update reset your Home Xbox?

you might need to designate it again

make sure that console is set as your home console, if it is not you cannot play games offline.

We need some more info in order to help. Is it all games? Is the xbox you are playing on the home xbox for the account you are using? Do you get any error messages?
