I can't play games after E-mail change on Xbox App

I recently changed my e-mail on my Xbox account and now I cannot play any games that I PAID FOR. Before I changed my e-mail, I had bought a game for 30 dollars and played it some. A day later, I then changed my e-mail to my account and now, a two days after I changed my email, I cannot play my game. I have logged back in and out of my account, and when I log back in, it says, "Hello (my username)" like it always had. But however, pressing play on games that I have paid for gives me this message: "(app) is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001. I have also tried logging into the Microsoft store and playing from there, this did not work either. Please help me because I don't want to spend money on the same game again!

Unfortunately, this didn't work. I paid for this game and now I can't play it??? This is absolutely stupid. Hopefully I can fix this soon because this makes no sense whatsoever. I can't change emails back because I have no way of accessing the old email; this is why I changed it.

These steps can help you, give it a try.
Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates.
1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app
2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset. Do this with the game too.
3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.
4. Open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner>downloads updates>get updates and update everything.
5. Restart your PC, log in to both apps and see if that solves the problem.

You can change the e-mail (the answer is YES!!!)

You go in your account go to your register and change the e-mail (warning!!! if you want to change the e-mail that e-mail don´t have be atached whif no account in XBL, because you can´t use the same e-mail for 2 accounts).

If you don´t have that problem is just change and wait the e-mail of confirmation

And go to WLA management and use the remove account tool for the Unwanted account

If you have already use the e-mail you want in the "unwanted account" you have to do a little marathon...first go to account you want to delete and change there the e-mail (put a non used e-mail, just to speed up the process you can open a new e-mail in
some free e-mail service...after changed now you can change the e-mail in your "main" account and put the e-mail you wish and after changes the e-mail of both accounts you can dlete the Unwanted account by WLA if you cant knok the adress go to xbox. com account
management and in the low page option you have account management there you can manage your account.

Hi there Hornet, here are a few tips I can think of:

First off, try to remember the Email and Password of the old account.

If you cannot, go to account.live.com and click 'Can't access your account?'. I'm assuming since you want to change the e-mail to the old one, you can still access the e-mail.

Then, use a different e-mail that is not linked to a Windows LIVE ID (after you've completed the recovery steps) and set it to that.

Then, on your primary account (which you want to change to the old e-mail), just change it to your old e-mail, and that should be all
