    I can’t play cross platform even after changing it to Allow


    I’m the only member of my family, it’s on adult settings says allow but when I get into games like MLB the show 22 and Fortnite, it says cross play disabled.

    I haven’t had this problem ever while playing. So I rebooted my Xbox, which nothing happened. I restarted my router. Still nothing. So what do I do so I can play these games that I like?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Kindly sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and then “block” the settings that has an arrow in this screenshot then submit, lastly “allow” them again then submit. Perform a powercycle after making the changes.

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    Hello in order to play cross platform on Xbox you need to go into the settings in the Fortnite game and select the Allow cross platform play option. He should be good to go after that!

    "change your settings to play" "you cannot play with content created by other players" is popping up when I have no restrictions on my adult account

    I am having the same issues on cross platform gaming on fortnite, mlb 22, and Apex Legends. I have set my settings to allow for everything I can, yet when I load up the games I can’t play online
