I can't play any of my multiplayer games without some error

Well I haven't really tried changing my DNS, what would I change it to? Also, thanks for helping I really appreciate it.

 

um, every one I tell, is googles' @ 8.8.8.8 for the primary, and 8.8.4.4 for secondary. its easy to remember so I tell people this. 4.4.4.4 and 4.4.2.2 work as well, and Open DNS is a great server as well.

if the DNS is open, then its open. Who am I to deny some one information?

 

on a side note most "level 3 customers" have moved to IPv6. I don't even know why im replying to this.

 

I just used Namebench to find out what's the best DNS server I could use, turns out my primary DNS was in 4th place and I had to use a better one. So I did, but there isn't much of a difference online. The Google DNS server wasn't even in the list of best
DNS servers I could use. So I'm all out of options here.

 

If your problem is only with GTA 5 , you might try this ( I got this from rockstar and it works almost everytime for me if I cant get on or get in a lobby by myself ) unplug modem and router ( if a cable modem I actually unscrew the cable out of the back
and touch the cable ) go to xbox one settings > network>advanced>alt mac address>clear> reset console ....then plug up modem and router ...not sure what it really does but I go from a one or two person lobby to a full one almost every time...

and again , your using a Ubee DVW326B "Gateway" which I hate for gaming , if your isp gave it to you , some features may not really be working...

 

So basically you unplug the power cord, clear your MAC address then proceedingly plug in the power cord and it works permanently or do you have to do this frequently?

 

I dont unplug the xbox one , i just clear the mac address which resets the console, i unplug the modem and router.....Not permanent unfortunately , if I come home knowing im gona play GTA , I just do it before I start , let it load up while im doing a few
other things and such , if I try and play without doing it , it still works most of the time but every now and then ill get the "im the only one in the lobbiy" or " the rockstar servers are unavailable"

 

Wow it still doesn't work. This *** is just getting repetitive.

 

so try different equipment, or get a different service provider. if its just that game, and you really want to play that game, your going to have to work around the game. if every other game works fine, and you dont want to buy new equipment/ change providers,
just find a new game. theres plenty in the line up.
