I can't play any of my games!

Discus and support I can't play any of my games! in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; whenever i try to play any game, it loads forever and never starts. i tried with both physical and digital copies!     I can't play any of my games!


    whenever i try to play any game, it loads forever and never starts.

    i tried with both physical and digital copies!

    PLEASE HELP ME!!!

    Can't play any of my gears of war game

    Installed game. Launched game. I signed in. My boyfriend signed in as a guest. Picked campaign coop, new, save slot 1, then gets a message error lost connection with host please return to main menu. Tried again and again , even tried solo. Won't let me play
    anything. Gone all Christmas devastated. Just want to play the campaign with my fella. Please Help!!!

  3. I can't play any game.

    Check your network connection to make sure you are connected then factory restore but keep your game and apps

    Go to network settings > advance settings > alt mac address > clear then restart to make sure you are connected

    Check your Xbox for updates in my games and apps > updates and under settings > system > updates

    If none of these steps work go to settings > system > console info > reset console

    Dude, the only thing I did was turning it off and removing all cables.

    After that, It worked perfectly. Don't ask me why! =P

    You power cycled. With every computer type system it has to be restarted sometimes. Check your power settings. If it is set to sleep mode, change to powersaving mode. It takes longer for the system to start and you cannot wake it up with kinect (if applicable)
    but it will be a fresh startup every time.

    Yesterday Xbox had a major server issue which affected everything from buying/downloading games and DLCs, games asking to be purchased again, payments being refused.

    Their servers are getting back to normal but lots of users are complaining they're still have issues. Would you please wait a few hours to see if things get back to normal again? If they don't, please try to sign out of your Microsoft/Xbox account and in again on all your devices.

    If problem still persists, please let me know.

    Are you getting this error now only with Microsoft Flight Simulator or with all games?

    Are you using Windows 10 or 11?

    Also, are you able to play games that are not Xbox/Microsoft related? Like Steam games or other games that don't need to connect to Xbox server?

    Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. I want you not to worry about the situation because I am here to help you out! I believe your console might need either a network reset or just a system refresh. I would like you to go through the following steps to clear the Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:

    Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

    After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

    Another thing you should check is your NAT type. I would like you to check your NAT type if open because that could sometimes interfere. to check for the NAT type you can follow the steps below:

    Settings > Network Settings > NAT type => It should be open.

    If the NAT type is not open, you will need to open some ports with your internet provider. These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work: Port 88 (UDP) Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) Port 53 (UDP and TCP) Port 80 (TCP) Port 500 (UDP) Port 3544 (UDP) Port 4500 (UDP).

    In case the issue still persists after the previous steps have been performed here is the official link to all the network troubleshooting steps that can help sort this out for you.

    In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

    Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.
