I can't pay for Xbox Live using Paypal( or at all really)!!

So yesterday I tried to pay for my Xbox Live Gold Membership, the 12-month membership, but when I click go gold and move on to press Confirm Purchase, the window just disappears. No error message, no nothing, it just disappears as if I've pressed back(which
I haven't). it even makes the sound it would make if you pressed back. I've restarted my console 5 times trying to pay but the I get the same results. there is nothing wrong with my Paypal, it has enough to pay. But I read somewhere that the details of my
PayPal and my Microsoft account have to be the same? Is that true? So my email must be the same? because they're not for now... I need serious help because it's really frustrating, I sat in front of a tv screen for hours last night trying to pay.

You would need a xbox live subscription card for 1,3 or 12 months or you can pay by credit/debit card or paypal.

Currency cards can't be used to pay for a xbox live gold subscription.

 

Microsoft account to xbox live

You can't use money in your Microsoft account to pay for live.

You need to use a credit/debit card,paypal or a xbox live subscription card.

 

Your billing info and personal info must match. This means your physical location (address, etc). However, I do not believe that paypal is a valid payment option when purchasing a Gold membership. You would need to use a credit card to ensure that the
auto renewal could be fulfilled.

If you do not have a credit card you could purchase a Gold membership card from your local retailer. In a lot of cases there are sales around if you look that would ensure the membership is cheaper by getting it that way.

 

this seems to be different by Region, Germany can use PayPal for Gold subscription.

by asking if the email Needs to be the same, i think it should be identical, you can edit this in billing info.

check what onys stated, if it still wont confirm your purchase i would check with PayPal, do they see your purchase attempt? if there is nothing then contact xbox Support to let them check for any Kind of issue related

 

Email does not have to be the same. My paypal account has a totally separate email from my gamertag.
