    Okay, so I just got my new XBOX ONE and was able to play on it and get on all of the apps. A little while later I was playing
    Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag when I was done for the night I hit the home button. I was curious about using Skype so I clicked on it and got an error code. I then proceeded to try opening up all of the other apps, all with the same result, an error
    code. Can someone please help me?!?!?!

    There was an issue with the Live service last night that prevented the use of some online games and apps. If you are still having the issue today then please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. That should solve
    the issue.

    Hi!

    You should search within Skype with your friend's Skype name or email address.

    As a backup plan, you can open Skype on some other device and add your friend through it.

    Go to your contacts on skype, choose ad contact. Then enter the email of your friends Gamertag. From there it will be as simple as choosing who to call once skype is open! 😆

    skype is the backbone of chat... our XBL friends will be incorparted into your Skype friends list... and now XBL parties have increased from 8 to 32 people... not that I want 32 of my friend all on the same channel...

    Yes there are those of us who are denied the ability for voice messages. Me and my friends which include a full 360 friends list genuinely use voice messaging and txt messaging. On Xbox 1's Skype app you CANT open voice messages because all you get is "this
    version of Skype doesn't support that yet" an Xbox 360 friend sent me one, and the only reason why I have Skype is because of Xbox 1. Just Like to video chat on 360 you need Video Kinect, to video chat on Xbox 1 you need the Skype app. It is an Xbox feature
    which tonnes of peps use on Xbox 360 so they should make Voice Messaging interchangeable between at least all Xbox 1 consoles which use Xbox Live.
