I can't open a game launcher (specifically Minecraft).

Please, reset the store:

Press the Windows key +R

Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.

Restart your PC.

Then, repair the XBOX app installation:

Press the Windows Key+X > Select Apps > Search for XBOX > click the three dots ... > Advanced > Restore

Then, on the same page, press Repair.

After that, please, download the Gaming Services Repair tool:

Once downloaded, execute the file by right-clicking on it and selecting Run as Administrator.

Follow the prompts and check if the issue was resolved.

The common reasons for Minecraft launcher not opening can be due to storage cache, virus infection, corrupted system files, incomplete updates, registry issues, etc. Therefore, it is very important to check for 0x803F8001 occurrences. You can try the following methods:

1. Uninstall third-party apps.
   
   If you have recently installed freeware and have just started facing Windows Store error 0x803F8001, it is possible that the third-party applications you have downloaded are negatively affecting the performance of your PC. You can uninstall the recently installed third-party application and see if it opens.
   
2. Check for license issues.
   
   Sometimes reinstalling an app can fix the license issue. You can try uninstalling the Minecraft launcher and then reinstalling it.
   
3. Remove cache from Windows App Store
   
   Make sure that the account you are using is signed in to the Windows Store. If you have never cleared your Windows Store cache, then this could be the core of the problem. So, try the following steps:
   

• Click Win key + R, type WSReset.exe in the Run dialog box and press Enter.
  
• When the Command Prompt and Windows App Store window opens in tandem, it indicates that the cache has been removed.
  
• Then restart your PC, open Microsoft Store and try to download/update it.

If you're unable to install the game using the installer downloaded from the official game website, please try installing it through the Xbox App on your PC:

Open the Xbox App, and in the search bar, type "Minecraft Launcher" to see if it allows you to install it that way.

The problem is, I still can't open the one through the mojang launcher...

When I click "Minecraft Dungeons" through the Minecraft launcher, it still makes me open up my microsoft account... and the game was purchased through the Mojang account... So when I try that, it stills directs me to buy the game.

I'm just a bit confused as to how this works and it appears I'm not the only one...
