    I can't make a purchase with my adult account


    I am trying to purchase Minecraft Java Edition. When I sign in with my Microsoft account, it tells me that I need parental permission. The issue is I am the adult for the family group. I am lost on why it is then asking for parental permission.

    Hello Dad, you have correctly verified who is the primary adult who is in the family account, sometimes the purchasing settings may be active not allowing you to perform purchases.

    Another thing you can try to do is remove your family account and try to make the purchase.

    I know I am an Adult b/c I can make purchases on my 360 plus there is no option to upgrade to Adult and I am legally an Adult.

    Xbox 360 backwards compatibility doesn’t work

    This is because you are using a child profile

    You must make the purchase on an xbox 360 or with an adult account unless its free then an adult account is the only one that can make the purchase

    How do you change an organiser profile to a child profile and how do you move billing information to a different organiser profile

    You can't change a child account to an adult account and to make billing available under an adult account you just need to register a method of payment under the adult account
