I can't login to the PC xbox app because it keeps asking me to type my password

Ok, using DLNA I can add my NAS on XBOX media centre. However I can't open anything because the Media Player app doesn't ask for the login or password.

Hi Josef, thank you for your answer. I tried the steps you mentioned and restarted my PC. Unfortunately the issue still persists. I noticed that some of the switched services were changed back to "manual" after restarting.

I just noticed, that this isn't limited to the Xbox app. I'm experiencing the same issue with other Microsoft products on my account, like Onenote. Can't sign into Onenote anymore, just keeps asking me for my password after I entered it.

Just tried to log in from different devices. Both the Xbox app on my phone and Onenote on a second PC worked just fine, no login issues there. So it really seems to be on my main PC.

A really simple update I would like to see on Xbox One that it should have already is wifi Saved passwords for all places i login to! I travel with my Xbox One alot and hate having to keep asking for the password or find the router box to type in that long
code to start playing my xbox over and again! please vote with me to make sure this happens in 2014!

I found a permanent solution that works. Login to your Microsoft account from a PC. setup 2 step verification. Then setup an 'app' password. (An app password is used to login to older MS devices like xbox 360 or windows 8 phone). Then login to your xbox
360 using the app password instead of your regular password. Then, select remember my password (if you want it to login without putting your password each time) .
