    I cant log out of the xbox app without logging in to the same account over and over


    i cant play gears of war 4. i cant log in when i start the game. it says there is a problem with my xbox account, i made an email adress when i bought the game because i never use any windows services (you are about to hear why) so i buy the game, download
    it, start it up and there is a problem, i noticed my xbox app on windows already had an old email of mine already signed in, i figured the issue must have been because i bought it with another account, it didnt work. now i cant sign out of the xbox app to
    sign in to my "main" account to play gears of war. what am i supposed to do, i tried everything

    Xbox identity provider wont download at all

    i cant switch live accounts on my windows

    and basically windows apps are so strict i cant sign out or change accounts or anything.

    please help me i just bought this overpriced game and it is a total waste of money atm...

    I'm not sure what happened here.

    The way me and my friend did it as to not worry about passwords is to bring up your password change settings on phone or PC first. Then go to home console, enter his gamer tag and enter password. As soon as it logs his in, have friend apply his new password on phone or PC that you had setup first. Log friend account out. Log you back in. Have friend do same on his. As long as you change your password and as long as your account gets logged out of other console, your account cant be accessed without giving new password.

    Doesn't this work exactly the same way as PSN. It isn't your Xbox that has an account it is YOU the gamer have an XBL account.

    YOU log into YOUR ACCOUNT on your XB360 and it works.

    YOU log into YOUR ACCOUNT on another XB360 and it works

    YOU log into YOUR ACCOUNT on XB1 and it works.

    The point is : It's always possible to navigate in the xbox and launch Netflix or youtube without any accounts logged.

    When their screen time is over, my kids just log out, and continue to use the xbox without any accounts (guest or personal).

    My question is, what is the settings to "force"the login into an account.

    Xbox says its connected to the internet, but XBL isn't working

    Same problem here as FummelOst. Cant connect to xbox live with either xbox one or app on windows 10, Also the Xbox one Smartglass seems to not wanna log in. When i log out from the account on Xbox one the store comes up but if and thats a big IF i can log
    in again it dissapears. Nothing wrong with any internet connection.

    on their account open xbox app, log out of xbox app and sign in with your account, download the game, log out of xbox app and back in with their account, they can then play your game with their account, same process for the microsoft store too.
