Discus and support I cant log into the Xbox app and Microsoft store in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I recently uninstalled Norton 360 off my computer, and today when trying to load Minecraft launcher it failed to log me in, I thought nothing of it and...     I cant log into the Xbox app and Microsoft store


    I recently uninstalled Norton 360 off my computer, and today when trying to load Minecraft launcher it failed to log me in, I thought nothing of it and loaded the Xbox app, A message appeared saying we couldn't sign into your Microsoft store account, I press fix now. then is says we weren't able to set the Microsoft store account. To do this yourself, launch the Microsoft store. which I do and another window opens and says let's get you signed in, I press continue and the window just disappears. I have tried the past couple of hours of solutions on YouTube and the Microsoft community pages.

    And I am sorry for the inconvenienced because you can't still sign in to Xbox app and Microsoft Store even after doing troubleshooting.

    Please note that this is a public forum, and I apologize for any delay in my response, as I am just another user looking to offer ideas and information that might be useful to others.

    This time, please turn on you two step verification by going to https://account.microsoft.com > Security> Two-step verification> Turn on.

    When it is already ON please try to sign in. And if incase it won't work kindly turn Off two step verification.

    Go to https://account.microsoft.com > Security> Two-step verification> Turn off.

    Once it is fully Off, please try to sign in to Xbox App and Microsoft Store and see if it works this time.

    If none of the steps will work, I am encouraging you to reach out to Xbox Support: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us to seek further assistance with them when it comes to cases like this.

    Hi there! This is Virginia O.

    I understand that you want to sign into your PC.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please run Windows Update troubleshooter. Press the Windows key + I to open Settings.

    Go to System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.

    Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

    And then check Disk for Errors. To do this, please press the Windows key + R, type cmd, and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to open Command Prompt as an administrator.

    Type chkdsk /f and press Enter.

    If prompted, type Y and hit Enter.

    Next is to run System File Checker (SFC) and DISM.

    Open Command Prompt as an administrator.

    Type sfc/scannow and press Enter.

    After it completes, type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and press Enter.

    Then update your PC by selecting Start Settings Windows Update > select Check for Windows updates.

    Kindly free up disk space. Go to File Explorer, right-click your OS drive, select Properties, and use the Disk Cleanup tool to free up space.

    Most importantly check for Malware. Run a full system scan with your antivirus software to ensure there's no malware causing the issue

    Kindly give an update after performing the steps.

    Great, please log out the Xbox app and the Microsoft store app, after this restart the PC and be sure that the Microsoft Store app and the Xbox app are logged with this email that have the subscription active
