    I am trying to log in to my account but when I try it says Help us secure your account

    We have detected unusual activity on your Microsoft account **********@gmail.com, or believe your credentials are at risk.

    For your security and to ensure only you have access to your account, we will ask you to verify your identity and change your password.

    Whenever I fill out the form I just get an email back saying that I don't have enough information to prove that the account is mine.

    Important: The account recovery form can only be used if two-step verification isn't turned on.

    If you did not have 2FA active on the account, you will need to try the Account Recovery Form again: [https://account.live.com/acsr]

    Microsoft takes account security very seriously, that's why Account Recovery is an automated process with no human influence. If you don't have the correct information, you may not be able to get through account verification using the Recovery Form.

    The Account Recovery Form requires adequate information to prove that you are the owner of the account. The Account Recovery Process can be a time consuming process, but providing as much info as possible from the start of the process will increase the possibility of being verified by the automated process. You'll need to keep trying until you're verified by Microsoft.

    Remember to use a familiar device from which you've frequently accessed your Microsoft account, as well as a familiar location. Microsoft will review your responses and respond within 24 hours. If you are verified, instructions on how to log back into your account will be sent to you, and if you are not verified, you will need to submit the Account Recovery form again. You can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.

    Please try this:

    If you have an active subscription, go here https://account.microsoft.com/services and turn off temporarily all the subscriptions. After that go back to your Xbox 360 and try again

    If that doesn't work do this:

    Go here: https://account.microsoft.com/security with the account that you want to use on Xbox 360

    Then press advance security options and scroll down to the bottom

    Are you able to see something like "app passwords"?

    If not, please please enable 2 step verification, after that go here again https://account.microsoft.com/security > advanced security options and press on "create new app password" then, write that password instead of the actual one in your console
