I can't log into Forza Horizon 5

I can't log into Forza Horizon 5, when i click on play, it opens a message box then closes it instantly, it hen tells that a connexion is needed, that i can't continue without being connected to a profile, i already tried to uninstall the game, the xbox app, disconect and reconnect.

Can someone please give me a solution.

My name is Aileen and I am an XBOX Expert and an XBOX user myself. I know how annoying it is when you just want to jump into Forza Horizon 5 and you keep hitting this issue. I’ve run into something like this too, so I totally get where you’re coming from. Just a reminder — this is a public forum and I can’t access your account or system directly, but I’ll share everything I know that might help.

Here are a few steps that have helped others (and me) fix that “connection/profile” login loop:

First, check if the Xbox Services are running properly:

Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

Look for these services:

Xbox Accessory Management Service

Xbox Live Auth Manager

Xbox Live Game Save

Xbox Live Networking Service

Make sure they are Running and Set to Automatic. If not, right-click > Start and set Startup type to Automatic.

Next, make sure you're signed in to all the necessary apps:

Open the Xbox app and make sure you’re signed in.

Open the Microsoft Store and check if you're signed into the same Microsoft account.

Open the Xbox Console Companion app (if installed) and sign in there too, just to sync everything.

If the game still won’t start:

Try launching the game as Administrator. Right-click the Forza Horizon 5 shortcut > Run as administrator.

Clear the Microsoft Store and Xbox App Cache:

Press Windows key + R, type wsreset.exe, and press Enter. This will reset the store.

Also, sign out of the Xbox app, restart your PC, then sign in again and try launching the game.

I meant that game is available on store but can't be downloaded without xbox app. Its Forza Horizon 5 btw.
