I can’t log in to my Microsoft account on F1 23

I have an Xbox one s and just bought f1 23. I haven’t used the Xbox in a while so I expected to have to sign in when it loaded, which I did. When the f1 game finally downloaded and I got on, it told me I had to log in, which I thought was fine but it’s saying that the password I had just used was wrong and is saying one that is not the same is the password, and then the game doesn’t do anything. Is something wrong with the Xbox, or is the game not compatible. I just bought it and this my first time using it so want to take it back if not compatible
