    I can't leave 640 x 480


    So basically I hooked up a Dell Monitor (2209WA) to my Xbox One S with an adapter, Had to low resolution reboot.

    I went to settings and when i tried to change my resolution my monitor just turned off and went into power saving mode.

    This probably isn't the place to ask, but can someone help me.

    XBOX One “No signal”

    It will not work on any other resolution besides the lowest one (640 x 480)

    Still getting the "That didn't help" error

    Upon changing the Display Overrides from Auto-Detect to HDMI, the picture changed to a 640 x 480 resolution and 4K was not an available option. Interesting!

    if the Xbox does not get the televisions capabilities properly reported to it over HDMI, it will default to 640 x 480 like all computers do

    People help the council! Xbox One S - starts only in 640 x 480 mode. All tried, at home three telecoms all 4K UHD, on one does not want to translate a signal 640 x 480 in 4K or 1080P. - the write action did not work (in the image setup menu). Restart two
    buttons "Xbox" and "Eject" for 10 seconds did - does not help! Cables HDMI changed - a sense of zero. Auto detection - in additional settings it costs. Resetting the settings to the factory did not help. OSU1 - stitched - did not help.

    UPDATE:

    The smell has stopped, and the system is no longer overheating. I have performed a system reset, but it still doesn't display anything other than 640 x 480.

    I'm going to start looking into options for repair.
