I can't launch Modern Warfare 2019

Welcome to Xbox Community Forum. Thank you for sharing your concern with us today and we hope that all is well.

We understand that you are trying to download the multiplayer pack 1 and unable to due to an error code: PILUM. Let us check on this together and sort this out. Rest assured, we will do anything in our capability to assist you with your concern.

The reason that is causing the error code to appear is that the Multiplayer Pack will not be downloaded. We are going to suggest some troubleshooting steps to perform.

1. Download the Multiplayer Pack directly from the Microsoft Store. All you have to do is to download the pack by clicking on the Get button. Follow the on-screen instructions to start the process. You should be able to see the Multiplayer Pack if you go to the Manage Game/Add-ons inside your Xbox console and the apply the changes.

Note: You have to be logged in with the same account that you are using for your Xbox console.

You can also visit the Microsoft Store directly from your Xbox console. When you are inside the store, you need to search for Multiplayer Pack and download it.

2. If the first step does not work, try to restart or power cycle your Xbox console.

Restart your console from the Power Center

1. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox controller to open the Power Center.
   
2. Select Restart console.
   
3. Select Restart.
   

Restart your console from the guide

1. Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide.
   
2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Power options.
   
3. Select Restart now.
   

Physically power cycle the console

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.
   
2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.
   

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.

Disconnect and reconnect your console's power cable

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
   
2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
   
   Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
   
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
   
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.
   

Next steps:

3. You can try to uninstall the game and all its add-ons and data packs. ​​​After uninstalling the game, press the Xbox Button > My Games and Apps > See All > Manage Queue > Queue > Click on Cancel All > Clear the Queue

4. Clear the Xbox Cache

Press the Xbox Button > System > Settings > System > Storage > Clear local saved games (Note: Just do this if your saves are saved in the cloud, else they'll be lost)

Press the Xbox Button > Settings > System Settings > Storage.
Highlight but don't select a storage device, and then press Y on your controller for Device Options.
On the Device Options screen, select Clear System Cache.
When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

5. Power Reset

1. 1​​. Turn off your console and your router/modem.
   2. Unplug all the cables from both devices (power, HDMI, etc..) and wait 2 minutes.
   3. After 2 minutes, plug all the cables in again on your router/modem and wait for all the lights to show up.
   ​​​4. Plug all the cables on your console and turn it on.
   
   Try to install the game again and let me know how it goes.

I purchased the Modern Warfare 2 remastered bundle in Modern Warfare (2019) and did not recieve anything except the Remastered game. Please fix this.

Have you gotten this error on COD Modern Warfare (2019)? If so, that means that your maps are probably corrupted. I suggest reinstalling modern warfare.

For 2019, it would be Call of Duty Modern Warfare
