    I have had my Xbox live account for just over a week now but every time I try and sign up for Xbox live rewards it says sorry I must have an Xbox live account. Can anyone help?

    I am trying to join Xbox Live Rewards but it says I can't join because of my age. I am over 13 why can't I join. I don't live in Norway.

    Whenever I attempt to join at https://rewards.xbox.com/join-now/ by clicking "Yes" and "Continue", I just get this message:

    We're Sorry.
    Unfortunately, you can't join Xbox Live Rewards right now. It's strictly because you need an Xbox Live account to join Xbox Live Rewards.

    I have an Xbox Live account, gamertag , which I've had for years. Why can't I join?

    Apologies for the inconvenience. We have found the issue with your account, and adjusted that information. You should be able to register after 48 hours have passed. This is to make sure your information is properly populated throughout our systems.

    Also wanted to mention that you can't back date rewards. If you have joined the rewards program you cannot get rewards for anything done prior to that point.
