I can't join my friends in a online game

I know they are working on it but I can't join friends parties. I can see them online but they can't see me. I have checked my settings and everything is as it should be. I can play online games and create a party of my own but can't join friends. Not
sure if issues are the same.

Do you get any error messages? If so what is it? Do you have a Gold Subscription? That is required for online multiplayer access.

Can you elaborate on what you are encountering so we can help further?

Check to see whether or not your Xbox Subscription is active and maybe check to see if your internet provider or Xbox Live is experiencing service issues. Xbox can all be checked online and you may have to call your service provider.

Go ahead and do a
hard reset and power cycle. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and
turn on the Xbox.

Also, try rebooting your modem / router.

If the issue persists, try removing your Xbox profile from the Xbox and redownloading it.
