I can't join Minecraft Realms

I can't join minecraft realms because of how my account is set up but I have "Join multiplayer games" and "You can create and join clubs" set to "Allow." I'm also not playing on a child account. Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks for reaching out and keeping us updated on the situation. Please try to sign into another Microsoft account,
then add the first account as an "Adult" family member. From there, try to see if it is possible to change the settings and save them this way.
Also, please try another device to see if it is possible to change the
Online Safety and Privacy Settings like
a phone, tablet, console etc.

Once you go to link provided if it isn't an adult account it will ask the parent to sign in and adjust settings.

If you get no notification for parent to sign in its an adult account. You can view birthdate on account.microsoft.com but unfortunately the one with xbox.com is not visible by anyone. Once the one for xbox.com is set its permanent.

Try the steps like this:

If you're doing this from your
Xbox One console change privacy and safety settings for the account.

• Sign in to your Xbox.
• Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.
• Select Settings > Account >Privacy & online safety, select
  Xbox Live privacy.
• Choose the default as Adult Defaults.

If you're doing this from the Website:

• Sign in to your Microsoft account at Xbox.com
• Under My Xbox, select Profile.
• Select Privacy settings or Online safety on Xbox One.
• Review the settings currently in place and update those you want to change. ( Make it as Adult defaults)
