    I cant join Groups / Play Multiplayer on Xbox Live for Windows 10


    I've purchased Minecraft : Windows 10 Edition to play with my friends. the point is that i cant join groups or
    play with them Online. I already changed my settings at Xbox.com
    but its still the same problem.

    For playing online multiplayer on PC, it’s no longer required to have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. That only applies to Xbox consoles.

    Are you on Windows 10 or Windows 11? What exactly happens when you try to join multiplayer? Any error message?

    windows 11.
    basically it will load for 10 minutes saying "connecting to multiplayer game" then after the 10 minutes just say "connection error you timed out" even thought I have full bars with wifi, and the other person also has good wifi

    I believe Xbox live Gold is not required to allow you to play multiplayer on the Windows 10 version of the game this is only required for multiplayer games on the console.

    Also I tested it by trying to play a free windows 10 xbox live game that has online multiplayer. it seems to work...so if I was to buy a future Xbox 'play anywhere title' would this affect the multiplayer?
