I can't invite my friends to games from my Xbox party

Discus and support I can't invite my friends to games from my Xbox party in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; so let me get things set straight.     I can't invite my friends to games from my Xbox party


    so let me get things set straight. I'm playing fortnite with friends and then I got booted from the squad we were in and I've been trying to send them invites to join my squad but I don't have the option to. Like the actual invite party to game option is
    gray and you can hover over the option. It straight skips the option and moves down to the rest of the following options. How do I go about fixing this issue?

    I've tried resetting my Xbox (turning it off then back on)

    Resetting cache

    Closing the app and opening it again.

    And nothing is working. Someone please help me if you know what I'm talking about. I'd appreciate it a lot.

    i cant join a party on MW3! why?!

    why can't I join a game from a friends invite? I friends cannot join from my invites, but we can all party up. I don't have elite and it was only affecting MW3.

    Can't receive game invites

    I haven't been able to receive game invites from my friends. I can send them but can't receive. I even get party chat invites but not games invites. I'm pretty sure my social settings are set correctly. Any help?

    Fortnite invites have to be sent using the in games invite system

    I've seen other gamers with similar issues. Check to see if they have successfully been added to your Party as well

    It seems they have went a step back with the party/friend system. I can't invite my friends to a game through the friends list or party and they can't join sessions. This is why I got away from sony because it was a pain.
