i can't install nba 2k15

I buy nba 2k15 and then i wanted to install it. but i can't. every time my xbox give up at 4% and then it comes the code 0x87e00064.

I tried it to install it offline but it doesn't work.

Please help me.

how would my internet provider know how much internet nba 2k15 uses to install?

please help me. i can't download my MyPlayer Closet in NBA 2k15.. please2x help me.what should i do?

 

yeah, i have exactly the same nba 2k15 installation problem !! Installation stopps every time at 4% telling me the disc is broken or not clean (0x87e00064). And i tried everything believe me. of course cleaning it first and check for scratches or damage.
but the disc was perfectly fine. then i tried many other things. several hard resets, clearing the persistent storage, uninstalling and installing the game again, with and without internet connection. i even restored factory default settings. and still got
no results.

So i brought the game back to the shop where i bought it. they put my disc in their console and they got exactly the same error. so they opened another 2 discs.. guess what.. same thing. so i guessed it must have been the whole shipment which was broken.
so i got my money back, and went to another store so it couldnt be the same defective shipment. bought it, tryied it, and the same problem.

now i really dont have a clue what the problem could be... and im surprised nobody besides the person above me had this problem before.

would be really nice if someone could help or give some advice please.

 

i got the game today (bought in the netherlands), and i have exactly the same problems as described by saintjuanitoo88.

4% and that's it.

i will return it to the store tomorrow. ;(((

was looking forward to playing the game. so far the whole xbox one experience has been very sucky compared to xbox360.

 

update: got beyond the 4%!

steps:

1. boot the xbox one with internet connected

2. remove the bluray app

3. install the bluray app

4. insert nba 2k15 disc

5. xbox one says there are updates available for nba2k15. accept these updates

6. install nba 2k15, it will error on 4%.

7. remove nba 2k15 completely

8. install nba 2k15, it probably will use the updates / download from internet instead using the disc.

9. wait an aeon since it's only on 6% (half an hour).

don't know if this is going to work for complete installation but, i'm at 7% now.

 

if this works i will be happy.

from an end-user perspective this is obviously completely INSANE.

 

it's still installing but i get the game-start screen.

"installing game. some features will not be present."

this is starting to look good.

 

hey jay303f thanks for the answer man! finally some hope. can you explain please exactly from point 7. what do you mean by remove completley? removing the disc and the installed part from the harddrive?

and does it work for you allready?

 

okey got it at 6% right now i really hope this works. so to answer my own question. after following all the steps jay303f mentioned above and getting to point 6. getting the error at 4%, just uninstall the nba 2k15 data from my games & apps. then immediately
install again and you should not hear the noise from the optical drive anymore so i guess the assumption that its installing/downloading from the internet is right. it will take longer though. so be patient.

 

Please can You describe Point 7 to 9 again ?

With more steps..

 

7. remove nba 2k15 completely from the harddrive. go to "my games & apps", go to nba2k15 and press the menu button (start button). select remove

8. select "install disc" from the main xbox one menu. your bluray disc drive should not make spinning noises

9. grab 10 coffee's and wait

it doesn't work for me..

i start the xbox box. my internet connection is already up. then i deinstall the blueray app. then i install it again. then i put the game in. i accept to download the update. then it stops by 4%. so i let the game in but i deinstall the game in my games
and apps. know i install it again. my game is in but then the update question comes again. so i accept to download the update but then it stops again at 4%.

please say me what i'm doing wrong

 

strange. it worked for me. i let it install all night went to sleep and now i am playing as i am writing this. so it worked for me. try that.

after accepting the update and erroring at 4%, go to "my games & apps"; press start button on nba2k15 then press "manage game" (at least i think its called so because my console is in german) then you get to another menu just with the nba 2k15 on your screen.
remove it now from here, after that you can intall it again from this menu. that's how i have done it.
