I can’t install any games

I cannot install any games at all, I start downloading gets a little bit of the way through then says “installation stopped” and keeps saying it every time i try to re do it, I’ve done a “soft rest” nothing changed please someone help this is becoming a joke

Hello,

I have received good news from Internal Team relayed by my colleagues - this Installation stopped error message for downloading updates from Microsoft Store on Xbox Console has been fixed recently. We greatly appreciate everyone's patience and timely report for this. As we cannot have this investigated without everyone's help.

It has been recommended to delete any downloads of games that once received this error message. Then you may re download the content, this should work fine as long as you have no network issues.

Should you still experience same issue? We encourage you to check update for your console and do a power cycle. Kindly download any update of your game/s and if the error message appears prepare to send a report using Xbox Report a Problem app.

Just the one game I think, call of duty cold war. That's a game that keeps failing for me.

Same here, on series S. All I can say is make a noise. This is kinda of ridiculous that this 5 year old bug has reported

There’s no offline update too be done it’s simply my game installs then says installation has stopped and it won’t restart I’m getting quite frustrated now because what’s the point in me paying for online etc if I can’t play the latest games is there someone who’s from Xbox who you can speak to about this is?
