I cant install any games at all, please help!

Ever since about a week ago, all games I try to install do not download but instead just sit in the queue. Even when I hover over the game and press install it does nothing at all. I've had my xbox for over a year now, and never had this problem. I am in
the preview program and have gotten the new dashboard update so I don't know if thats the problem or not. I've disconnected the internet from my console and restarted the modem, and even held the power button for ten seconds to turn it off and turn it on and
it didnt help. I also accidentally re formatted my external seagate 3tb hard drive, which uninstalled all my games and now I have no games on my xbox at all and cant install any. Please help me, I might just be stupid here.

i bought bf3 last week and it freezes all time and i cant play it , also cant install it keeps saying disc unreadable , i took it back and had it replaced but still same thing keeps freezing and cant install it

i can still play my other games though

also i picked up mw3 today and that keeps saying disc unreadable cant play it at all

but i can still play all my other games apart from these 2 !

can anyone help please !

I think it has something to do with the preview program. I'm in the same situation as you, well sorta i didn't lose my games from my 4tb hard drive. But all new games i try to download and install sit in my queue which sucks because I paid for 1 of them.
I do the same thing and hit install now and nothing happens. Everyday i check to see if there is a new update out with a fix. Hopefully a fix is coming soon.

 

When this happened to me I had to unplug the console for 10 minutes or so and then start it up. After this it worked, so lets hope this works for you!

 

I'll try that. But idk. It seems like nothing will work. Did you only unplug it from the wall or the console? Thanks for the responses btw guys.

 

Exact same thing happened to me. It's definitely the update, I went back to the older version and now it works fine. However I bought a game during the new preview and now it says I don't own it. Either go back to the older version or wait until it's fixed.

Sorry didn't read your comment properly. I'm tired reinstalling all my games. Go into preview dashboard, registration and then change. I forget what the options are exactly, but It the previous programme.

 

Btw it took a few hours before it changed back

 

I really messed up. I accidentally cleared my hard drive. So, the preview thing got erased and I cant download anything.

 

Your internal hard drive? You should still be OK, just reset console sign back in and it should update normally

 

Anything you own should be under ready to install
