I can't hear through any type of headset on multiple controllers....

Are compatible headsets "plug n play" when connected to an XboxOne controller or is there setup required? I can't hear any audio with a newly purchased Plantronics - RIG 500 PRO HX Wired Dolby Atmos

Xbox One mic can hear but can't talk

Hey , I have been having major problem . My Xbox one headset allows me to hear my friends but they cannot hear me. I have gone through all basic troubleshooting multiple times already. These step steps include , power cycles , reset , open NAT type, new
controllers, new headsets , updating my security settings, etc. Can anyone help me?

 

Mic cant seem to hear me on my xbox?

Same issue. Tried multiple headsets, multiple controllers, multiple batteries, multiple hard resets. I can hear party, but mic never activates. Was working fine, then walked out of range. Since then, I can't get it to work.

you may find you need to update your controller with your headset plugged in so it can calibrate for you.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble hearing with your headsets. I would recommend doing two things. First go into settings then to display and sound and then volume. Make sure Party Chat output is set to headset. Second, and I only recommend this because
I find myself with this issue a lot, make sure to turn up your headphones to a comfortable level to listen to.

Please keep us informed as to the progress on your headsets.

 

It didn't work the headsets work fine on my laptop. The firmware on all controllers are up to date too.
