i can't hear people talking in party chat

Discus and support i can't hear people talking in party chat in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; i can't. i see the voice indicator flashing as they are speaking but i can't hear the actual voice. help please? and it happens with EVERYONE. i mean...     and it happens with EVERYONE. i mean every person i try to speak to this happenes

    My headset only works in party chat. When I'm playing other games I can see that people are talking but I can't hear them and they can't hear me. It only works in party chat.

    I can hear game audio but can't hear people talk in Party chat they can hear me the only thing I can't hear is the party chat in game everything is fine

    Hi FrostDaKiller!

    Bummer you're not able to hear people in party chat! Let's see what's going on. First, are you using a headset or are you chatting with a Kinect sensor? If you're using a headset, what happens if you unplug it while in party chat? Are you able to hear people
    through your TV?

    Be sure that your NAT type is also showing as open under your network settings. Check out

    this page     for steps to open your NAT type.

    @cammers not for me, it just stops me hearing ppl talking and they can't hear me, Iset to party chat and change it back to party chat and alls well, but it happens a lot.

    Hey DX! If your headset is working when talking to Cortana then It should be fine>Maybe the other people are in a private party and that's why they can't hear you chatting. Sometimes this happens to me then I look and see if they're in a party. Sometimes
    they are and sometimes they're not and just choose not to talk. Hope this helps
