    I can't hear on anything


    Please can you help me. I have 4 controllers, 2 sets of batteries and 2 headsets and I can't hear through any headset. I have tried combining different controllers. I have tried switching the box off and unplugging the power at the back. Has this happened
    to anyone else and does anyone have a solution? Thanks

    Hi Helpmepleasexbox, personally I rarely use a simple
    headset but rather headphones audios, however, it happens to me with an old headset. I read all that has been said here and will not add it nevertheless, it happened to me in the past and after multiple tests, it was the headset that had a problem. The cable
    had a fault (false contact) that I could not arrange. Hoping that you can know a better end.

    cable could be damaged!?

    Troubleshoot sound on your Xbox One console

    • Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    • Select Settings.
    • Select All Settings.
    • Select Display & sound.
    • Select Video output.
    • Select TV connection.
    • If TV connection is set to "DVI," you'll need an optical audio cable for sound. ...
    • Back out of Video output by pressing B .
