I can't hear anyone in Party Chat but theycan hear me. I can only hear+talk to others in Game ...

A few days ago, I started having an issue with the Party chat. My friends are able to hear me as normal and it shows that they are talking. I can't hear anyone though. I can only hear them for a fraction of a second after joining the party and then I hear
nothing I have tried hard-restarts, factory resets, mic settings, and pretty much everything else on the Xbox Support page and other pages like it. The weird part is that I can only hear people if we are in Game Chat. I want to get this fixed because I have
been on hold for hours at a time for phone support just for them to tell me to hard-reset or hold the power button. There are games I want to play that are singlt-player but I can't hear to people in Party Chat if I do. It's a really dumb situation and it's
been this way for a few days now. If anyone has a suggestion that isn't just to turn it off and on again, It would at least be somewhat useful.

Whenever I join a party chat I can hear everyone through my headset but no one can hear me. I've had the same problem for well over a year now and I've tried everything to fix it but absolutely nothing works. I've gotten a new headset, adapter and even a
new Xbox but still it doesn't work and it's so frustrating. No YT video helps and no comment on any sort of website helps either. Also my Kinect can be used for chat but I'd much prefer to use the headset. Please please if you have had this problem and somehow
managed to fix it please share it would be greatly appreciated by me and the little small group of other people who have had this problem.

 

I figured out the problem. I had my controller plugged into the console but the batteries were so low that it wanted to turn on the power saving mode. I guess thats why I didn't get any vibration in my controller either.
