    I can't get the sale price I was promised. (Accidents happen)


    I'm in the online store where Assassin's Creed Origins was on sale right next to the icon for Assassin's Creed Origins Delux Edition and Assassin's Creed Origins Gold Edition. I wanted the GOLD, but I hit the "standard edition" by mistake.

    Realizing this only after I had navigated back to my Xbox I immediately CANCELLED the download. After reaching a representative I had my money refunded back to me for the purchase, even though I begged them to please find a way to KEEP my money instead and
    just change the purchase itself over to the correct game. This frustrated me as I was informed it takes five days of money-limbo before the cash is able to show up again in my bank account.

    I was poor at the end of the week so I could now no longer buy the game I wanted on the day that I wanted it, and of course as I waited under the magic money cloud for my lost purchase to come home to me again the limited time special offer on my game had
    expired. The devastating agony of $70 returning back to it's original $140 was simply too much for me to bear - I died a little inside.

    Now I'm not a lawer, but isn't it true these people fully ACCEPTED my money on a day while the sale price was still in effect, and I, not wanting my money back, only needed them to switch out the product my money had been accidentally attached to in favor
    of the more advanced product I had actually wanted, (with the clear understanding I needed to give them about twenty more bucks on top)?

    My transaction had begun and been accepted DURING THE SALE, and it was only due to awkward money-limbo policy not under my controle that I was not able to complete this transaction until days later after the sale had already come to its end. Don't you think
    a member of this community in good standing deserves at least a little more then a cursory dismissel of my inquiries regarding a "special case extension" of the sale price I was originally motivated into purchase through?

    They hung up on me just now while I was awaiting a higher level supervisor to come to my gaming salvation. (I sure hope this was by mistake... After all, accidents happen).

    Anyone else going all Digital?

    Seems to be a UK problem.

    In US and the rest of Europe,disc and digital are at the same price.

    After that,if digital sales starts to get bigger,we will see digital price drops and better deals too.

    This is what happen with digital sales on PC vs physical sales.

    You can't ask for better deals if you don't show your support.

    I`m so disappointed with the xbox sales system

    well for one if you didn't know today is blackfriday

    That's why the price is down and no they can't reverse the charges sales happen when they happen

  5. It is true they accepted the money for the game. However it is also true you purchased the incorrect item. Microsoft have to refund you by law they cannot simply transfer the funds from one purchase to another or exchange the diigital product with you.
    In my experience the game you wanted will be on sale again in a few weeks so I would suggest waiting

  6. Microsoft cannot extend a sale beyond its limited time frame. Sales are agreed with publishers to run during that time frame

    Wow! FTC, Really?

    If you can't see E3 2006, or whatever year it is, as nothing more than a cosmic megaphone to broadcast a SALES PITCH to boost an upcoming game's sales, then I don't know what else to tell you, lies and promises happen all of the time in the wonderful world
    of sales, it's not BioWare that needs to "get over it" it's the fans who ate all of that *** up, get over it...:)
