I can't get past the something went wrong screen no matter what I do

That's what I was looking for , but there's actually no such button showing on this page for me (using mobile, so maybe that makes a difference). I eventually found it in the drop-down menu at the top under participate.

Yes, it happens when trying to play call of duty ww2. It starts up and says something went wrong...i get options to restart or to reset . I get error codes and try to fix the error but it restarts and goes right back to the something went wrong screen!

Ah that's slightly different to my issue. Games were fine, but when I loaded anything like Netflix they wouldn't work. Didn't even have an error code! Ended up having to reset the console so today I'm having to sign back into everything! On the plus side, it works now!

If you want to check for updates available you can go to My Apps & Games > Manage Queue > Updates and it'll show you if there are any updates pending for any games/apps (for console updates Settings > System > Updates)

If you tell us the error codes you are getting we can investigate further to steer you in the right direction to solve your issue. It may be a System update is required.

Scroll down to E203 in this support page, System update solution. Only continue with each step if the previous steps, options, doesn't solve your issue. If you're using a wired ethernet connection to your console disconnect it before attempting to do an offline system update. You will be prompted to reconnect it during setup.
