I can't get past Race with planes

Every time I finish, and win, the race with the planes, it just keeps making that the next Championship event. I ask "Anna" to take me to next event and it is that same race, over and over.

My only other option is to "continue Road Trip" which routes me to a Car Meet. I've done the car meet, I leave and again my only two choices are the race with the planes and the car meet. I can't get past this.

If I go to any of the Hubs, Garages, anywhere, it says I can't change my championship.

It's so ironic that they advertise this game as giving you freedom to get off the track, but it is the most closed off system I've ever seen. Why can't I just go into the menu and choose a new race?

If I check my progress I see a ton of great looking classes, etc that I'd love to try, but none of them are clickable, they're just information, nothing I can actually do.

This game sucks.

Cuz some people can get on and others can't get past the race

 

Sounds like your game save file or game install is corrupted. I would uninstall and re install the game and see if that fixes it.

After the race with the planes you either need to go back to the last hub you were at to continue the road trip or go back to the Horizon festival to watch the awards screens for the championship you just completed (I can't remember which). Complete one
of those two actions and you should be able to continue your progression in single player.
