I Can't get out of minecraft beta

I had a friend who was recently enrolled in the Beta and he wasn't in the Xbox Insiders program. We were able to unenroll him by deleting the game and downloading it again.

If you're an Xbox insider you may have to opt out of the beta via the Xbox Insiders app before uninstalling and reinstalling as others have said before.

Make sure that no one else that plays on your Xbox is enrolled in the Beta Program through the insiders program as well. Assuming you're using a console.

Do you have any other user accounts on you PC (assuming this is a Win 10 issue)? If so you need to uninstall it on those as well.

Try restarting your console or force quitting the game. If that does not work head to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with opting out of a Beta state of Minecraft.

If you wish to
opt out of the Minecraft Beta, this has to be done via the
Xbox Insider Hub. Once you have that installed, you will be able to opt out of the Insider content via the options
in the app.

This can be done by following these simple steps:

1. Open the Xbox Insider Hub app and unenroll from the beta.
2. Uninstall Minecraft.
3. Hard reset the Xbox console by holding down the power button until the console turns off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the console back on.
4. Reinstall Minecraft from the Ready to Install section of Games & Apps.
