I can’t get notified of new messages in Xbox app

I am not being notified of messages via the Xbox app on my phone. When I check “message” in Settings, it refuses to save. Every other box will save the settings if I check it, but not message.

When I check it and navigate away from that menu and come back it is unchecked again. This is SUPER FRUSTRATING. Seems like a dumb fix and lots of people are still having this problem.

I am able to receive ALL notification EXCEPT messages. As explained before, I can check or uncheck any and all boxes regarding notifications; but it doesn’t matter which “combination” of checked boxes I use the “messages” one ALWAYS becomes unchecked.

Change the settings in the phone in the notifactions tab. The power cycle the phone. It should save and fix the problem

Have you checked your phone settings and made sure the notifications are set properly ? Not through the app but in the phone settings themselves.

I know you already tried as much as possible in the app itself. Are you have trouble receiving any other notifications? I know it was on

Apple's web forums that they were having issues on the X regarding notifications.

Is it an issue when you are in the app that you do not receive the notifications or are you talking about in your notification center on the phone itself?

Oh yes, I’ve tried EVERYTHING. Im a relatively techy guy too. I just cant fogure it out.
