    Recently about a week ago, I tried buying anything on Xbox one marketplace, suddenly after the newest update I simply can't anymore! Everytime I click "Purchase this game" I got "You need to add payment option" "Start now" Well... I write all the information,
    but it goes nowhere after saving my details both places website / console. I got same thing over again. It's like refusing my details and really don't know why. I got new card and try updating those informations up to speed, but no. Just looping same thing
    over and over again.

    Well I had enough! I think my account have the problem, maybe because I have different country for some odd reason in billing information. Well I created new GT and buy another 12 month gold time and tried again, well it saved, but that didn't help EITHER!
    I literally wasted 59,99€ more of this crap and got nothing resolved! I really don't know what's the real problem, I'm really frustrated and stuck in this situation I tried earlier today contact support and ask help, they removed my card option and I try to
    add new one, I tried "Bank transfer option" Nope.

    Same thing goes endless. I'm literally stuck here and completely confused what im doing wrong. Even support can't help with my problem. What I do? Is this really xbox one's service problem or am I the only one stuck with this annoying problem.

    I really want to buy stuff and play them, sniff. Help please!

    How to Manage your Xbox LIVE payment options

    Overview

    You can choose to use more than one payment method for your Xbox LIVE account. The payment options include credit cards and PayPal accounts. You can use these payment options to buy items from Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

    The 2-year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract uses only credit cards as the payment option. The other payment options like Debit Cards, Prepaid cards and PayPal are not valid for this subscription. However, you can change your payment to another credit card.

    If it is before the end of the two years and there is no credit card associated with your account, it is assumed you have terminated the subscription, and you will be charged an Early Termination Fee and any applicable taxes.

    It is easy to edit your payment options on your console or at Xbox.com

    Steps to Follow

    Add or change a payment option using your console

    1) Use your Xbox LIVE gamertag to Sign in.

    2) Proceed to Settings and then select Account.

    3) Select Manage Payment Options, and then choose either of the following:
    • If you want to add a new credit card, select Add Credit Card.
    • If you want to use your PayPal account on Xbox LIVE, select Add PayPal. You will be required to enter your PayPal username and password. Follow the instructions to add PayPal as a payment option. You cannot use PayPal as a payment option for the 2 year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract. PayPal is not available in all regions.
    4) After making changes to payment options, select Update Payment Option.

    Add or Change a payment option on Xbox.com

    1) Go to My Account.

    2) Select Payments and Billings and click on Manage Payment Options.

    3) You may be required to Sign in using your Microsoft account (email and password).

    4) Proceed to do either of the following:

    If you want to edit a payment option, select Edit.

    If you want to add a payment option, you can do either of the following:
    • Click on Add New Credit Card and enter the credit card information
    • Click on PAY with PayPal and follow the instructions.

    Can't authorize the selected payment option. Please select a different payment option or add a new one.

    I am trying to buy The Elder Scrolls: V on my XBox 360, but when I try to finish the payment, I recieve the error code "Can't authorize the selected payment option. Please select a different payment option or add a new one."

    I'm not sure what region my account is in, but probably in Europe, because I live in Norway. I also physically connect from Europe.

    Any help in resolving this problem would be highly appreciated!

  5. Well I tried that support again, but they can't help me further with this problem. Can anyone see the solution on this? If I can't solve this, I will sell my xbox one and move to PS4, because I had enough of this bs.

    Additionally, could you please provide additional details surrounding the issue you're experiencing? When you say it refuses your details, does it give you an error code? If so, can you please give that to us? (It'll either look like XBOS-0000 or 0x00000000.)
    If you are able to get screenshots of the issue that would be great as well. You can use
    OneDrive or any other popular image hosting website to host your image.

    I got the same problem i have fixed my payment option and its correct but its still tells me to update the payment option... this is just waste of money i have paid for my gold membership and it ends at 01.04.2013 and i can't even logg in to my account,
