    I can't find the email linked to my xbox account


    I've tried looking through all of my emails to find which one is connected to my gamertag as I can't seem to find the connected email anywhere and I've had no luck. I have a connected store account to that xbox account (The account I'm posting from now) and even when I look on the store account's information I can't even look at which accounts are connected to this one. On my Xbox account I was wanting to change my gamertag and it requires a sign in but because I don't know which email it is I can't do it. I'd make a new xbox account entirely but this is the account my minecraft purchase is connected to as I was forced to do this after the mojang account migration.

    I am so sorry you are having issues with a lost account. Please keep in mind, this is a user forum, we are not Microsoft.

    The first idea to find your email is to directly log into your account with your phone number.

    You can find your username using this recovery tool: [https://account.live.com/username/recover] by inputting related data.

    If this does not work, you can try to look for email receipts on alternative accounts or find accounts you made be logged into on different services.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

    When I click that link it asks me for an email address. Is this for my son's account or mine? Something I noticed on our xbox is that my two younger sons have gamertags but their email addresses are not connected to these, and I can't find a way to link the two without it trying to create a new gamertag for their emails.

    You can't have a second account linked to the same email, you can only have one Xbox account per Email, when a email it's linked to one Xbox account that email can't be used again for a different Xbox account
