    I can't find my IP or even my Wireless Network on my Xbox One (Since Friday, December 12th)


    Hello,

    I've been having issues since Friday, Friday morning my Xbox One could connect to Xbox Live but that afternoon it couldn't.

    I couldn't get the IP address, but now i just can't connect to the wireless router.

    I asked for support and was told to open more ports from my router, I did so and nothing changed.

    People keep telling me this is the work of a Hacking, but I was able to connect my Xbox at a friends house over the past weekend.

    I'm having someone come today, but are there any suggestions to what I could do?

    It was showing me my Wireless network, but since yesterday it hasn't.

    I would love any ideas that could lead me closer to my solution, thanks!

    SmartGlass don't work !

    So, I have the SmartGlass app for Xbox One (for Win8 and WP8) and the app can't find my Xbox in my network. Yes, the devices are both in the same network.

    Even entering the IP of my Xbox doesn't solve the problem.

    Does anyone have any ideas or is experiencing the same problem?

    Xbox One can't find my wireless network

    Hey guys, so I continued fiddling with it myself and fixed it. I considered deleting this but in case anyone else finds it, I went into router settings and changed the channel from 13 to 11 in the general settings.

    I'be got all the settings correct and my problem is my pc isn't finding my xboxs ip address, my thought is it isn't finding it because one is on ethernet (wired) and the other is on wifi, therefore it thinks they are on seperate networks and can't find

    I keep losing connection to xbox live.

    I too have the same issue where I get kicked off the wireless network. I view my network settings and it shows I am connected but says that it can't obtain an IP address. My router is working fine for 2 laptops, 2 iPhones, my Xbox 360 and an iPad. I switched
    to using a manual IP address since the error specifically said that it couldn't obtain an IP. Worked for awhile then it happens again. Sometimes disconnecting from my wireless connection then reconnecting will work. Usually I have to restart the Xbox to
    get it to connect again, but it'll eventually disconnect again.

    Sigh. The thing stopped working again. The error is that the xbox can't obtain an IP address, although I did try using a static IP and it still wouldn't connect. The problem seems to be that my xbox can't connect to the network at all, since when I test
    the pc connection it fails at the first step. As before, even if I disable my firewall and use no password for the network, it still doesn't connect saying it can't obtain an IP address. Completely dumbfounded by this thing.
