    That happens when you have registered a child account. Your parent account should give permission to a child account to play online

    how do I give permission to my child?

    Have the child log in on the website, then go to My Account and then Family, Forums and Privacy and then Xbox 360 Online Settings. Change whatever needs to be changed, press Save and you should be prompted to confirm by signing in as the parental account.

    Just give yourself permission. The exe was in the WindowsApps folder right?
    It was in that folder, but I can't figure out how to give my self permission for the file itself. When you go to change the permissions it states the following: 'You do not have permission to view or edit this object's permission settings.'

    I can't seem to figure a way around that and I can't find any other guides as such to advise either.

    I don't think it was ever set as a child account. There's no way my parents could've figured out how to do it. I'll try contacting support if I can't figure it out. Thanks
