I Can't Edit My XBOX Account

It seems your Xbox account is in Child safety mode.

If you are under the age of 18 using an xbox one console, you'll have to have a parent or guardian who made the account change your account settings.

It would appear that your account is a child one and you will need a parent account to make certain changes. Bear in mind if you are trying to change your account so you can have a custom gamer pic, it will not make a difference, as Xbox accounts work
of the initial set up date of birth and you would have to wait till it naturally reaches 18 (20 in South Korea and Japan)

Also keep in mind that changing your age after the fact won't work. Once an age is set it's permanent. This is to prevent kids from just changing their ages to bypass things. While the system will allow you to change your birthdate anytime, It won't recognize
it in the system. You will need whoever is in charge of the family account to make the adjustments for you.

My problem is solved. I changed the year of birth in my account. I can access and change my accounts settings completely. Thank you so much

We apologize for this ongoing inconvenience but as stated by our Ambassadors we suggest looking into perhaps adding the existing Microsoft Account to a Family by checking out our Add
a new member to your family on Xbox One page and then modify the settings from the adult account as there is no way to graduate the account (make it an adult).
