I can’t download things on Microsoft Edge using my Xbox One S.

There was an update a while back that removed the ability to download anything from Edge on the console. There's no way around that.

Also, Minecraft on the console does not support mods so you can be banned for using those.

Did you find a solution to this? I have the exact same issue including the very same behavior when trying to download software and updates on my Xbox Series S. I also have problems downloading files using browsers like Chrome and Edge, where downloads usually end in a few seconds with a network error message.

Downloading on Steam and Epic Store works fine. Streaming YouTube and other services work fine. Doing speed tests always result in 940/940 Mbps. Downloading on phones and tablets work fine.

The ONLY affected hardware is my Microsoft Xbox and my Microsoft Windows PC, specifically the Microsoft Xbox app and the Microsoft Store and browsers.

The weird thing is that when I changed my Xbox from using Ethernet to using wifi, downloads suddenly worked just fine. I can’t try this on my PC since it only has ethernet. However, Steam and all apps except for Microsoft apps and browsers download just fine using Ethernet.

I don’t understand what this is.

As my colleague mentioned above. It is not possible to use Edge to download via Xbox. You must use the Microsoft Store and Minecraft Marketplace to download additional content.

I used to download things off of media fire and now I get an error messega saying downloads are not compatible why one second it works and the next it doesnt
