i cant download the xbox app

hi i cant login to the xbox app and i cant download the app!

I can download xbox app but I cant download xbox live

Thank you for helping me i havent done a reset on my computer yet but i will try all these things that you have told me to do. I am subscribed to xbox ultimate gamepass right now and i am trying to download it through the xbox app as a gamepass subscriber. Also right of now i do not have the xbox app downloaded as it will not let me download anything from the microsoft store or the xbox app downloader file from the web.

I have also updated my nvdia drivers as well, and restarted.

I am also trying out other methods because the install button for everything in the store is grayed out

i also tried trouble shooting the store and it told me that a problem was hanging or crashing apps, wich it could not automatically fix



also whenever i try updating windows it does not work, it is just stuck on the loading screen i have tried troubleshooting it but it as well just gets stuck on checking for restarts

i am going to download this update of windows through the web

We understand that you are experiencing issues downloading Xbox app to get started playing Forza Horizon 5 on your Windows device. As per description, you have performed troubleshooting to fix this, but issue still persist. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner.

To make sure I understand, did you purchase the game from the Microsoft Store application or were you install Forza Horizon 5 through the Xbox app as a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, right?

For the meantime, we would suggest you do some steps and see if it will work. If you have attempted to download the game on the Xbox app and if the installation has stalled, please open the Windows store app and view your downloads from there.

1. Restart device.
   
2. Install Windows update. Guide - Update Windows
   
   • If you have issues with update, please check the troubleshooting steps available here - Troubleshoot problems updating Windows.
     
   • Please do the update of drivers, guide - update drivers in Windows.
     
     • NVIDIA
       
     • AMD
       
3. Update Xbox app and Gaming Services from Microsoft Store. Guide: Get updates for apps and games in Microsoft Store
   
4. Make sure you are signed in to Microsoft Store and Xbox app with the same credentials. Note: Please make sure you know your credentials before proceeding to the next steps. If in doubt, try to manually sign in here: Microsoft Account | Home.
   
5. Uninstall and reinstall Gaming Services.
   
   • Right-click the Start button and select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
     
   • Type this command one at a time, press enter and wait:
     
     [table][tr][td]get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers[/td][/tr][tr][td]start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN[/td][/tr][/table]
     
   • Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
     
   • Restart your device and try to install the game again.
