I can't download the free 360 game of the month on Xbox One

Before you moderators say anything, yes, I am an adult on this account's family and I do have permissions over child accounts. I do not own a Xbox 360 because I traded it in for a Xbox One. Every single time I try to make a purchase from my Xbox or my PC
it comes up with "Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your Xbox." I know y'all are going to probably say "You need to make this purchase from a 360", but how do you expect me to get a 360? All
I want to download is Borderlands 2, but obviously I can't even though it's free for gold members.

Backward Compatibility

Every month I download 2 free games on Gold to my Xbox one, but, i cannot download the 360 games from Gold into my Xbox one for backward compatibility. How do i activate my Xbox One to start playing backward compatible 360 games.

problem with the games with gold

I have a problem with the games with gold. I can download the Xbox One games on my Xbox One but whenever I try to download the free Xbox 360 games, it says buy for free and when i press it, it goes to a blue screen. Same with the Internet Explorer, it just
says go to the Xbox store and download it, which I obviously can't do.. I do not have a Xbox 360 in order to download the free Xbox 360 games with games with gold, so it can automatically pop up in my Install on the Xbox One. So my question is, "How do I download
the free Xbox 360 games without an Xbox 360?"

Other seem to be right about this one. There is still alot of 360 games that are b/c that they havent issued for free on games with gold. If they do stop providing 360 games I hope that means 4 free xbox one games to download a month!!

I turn 18 in about three months. Will my account switch to adult automatically?

I do not have a 360 so I cannot download the game there. My sister has the adult account on our Xbox One, but she does not have Live Gold so she can't get Super Meat Boy for free. My mom gave me a gift card for Live Gold Access a few months ago.

I am able to download the free Xbox One games fine. It is only the 360 game that is the problem. I'd really like to be able to download it and feel I should be able to since I am a Live Gold Member.

I already have the game in disc, and have been playing for some months on my One console (years on my old 360), but my friends doesn't have the game. And is so sad the best game I have played most hours can't be enjoyed with my friends now it is free for
Gold users.

It is the first time a Gold game of the month can't be downloaded (as far as I know), so if not solved before 15th Microsoft should give it for free another month.

Leaving no payment option will affect the ability to download backward compatible Xbox 360 games unless you also have a 360 to do that from. Xbox 360 games require a payment method to be able to download the game directly to the Xbox One. The games for the
360 every month aren't free they have a cost of $0.00.
