    I can't download sea of thieves.


    I pre-ordered sea of thieves a month or two ago, I pre downloaded it a month ago. I got on last night when the game was released and when I clicked on it it just brought me to the Xbox store, it said I owned it but it also said I had to purchase it again.
    So I deleted the downloaded copy of the game so I could re-download it, after I did that, it now says that I don't own it. It's not even in my ready to download games. Can someone pleased help me, I'm not going to spend another 60 bucks on it.

    Hi there Rumdog18., thanks for reaching out.

    To take advantage of Xbox Play Anywhere, you will need to have installed the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update on your PC, as well as the latest update on your Xbox One console. Then, simply log into your Xbox Live/Microsoft account and your Xbox Play
    Anywhere games will be available to download. On your Xbox One, games will show as “Ready to Install” under “My Games and Apps”. On your Windows 10 PC, games will appear in “My Library.”

    Did that help you access Sea of Thieves on your Windows 10 PC or are you still experiencing this issue?

    Why does the Xbox app insist on installing multiple installations of games on my C drive without my permission?

    Sea of thieves decided to uninstall itself for some reason over night, making it so that I cant play Sea of Thieves today due to the long download time.

    If I buy Sea of Thieves on Steam, can I play with the same account as on the xbox app version? That way I wont need to deal with the Xbox app or its version of Sea of Thieves.

    I think it is because you are trying to download Sea of thieves instead of the anniversary edition.

    Try this:

    Open the Microsoft Store(No the gamepass app), then search for Sea of thieves: Anniversary Edition and try to download that.

    Shift F enabling Microphone Feedback in Xbox Game Bar or Xbox Beta App

    Maybe it's a Sea of Thieves setting as I haven't seen anything yet in Xbox Game Bar that uses SHIFT+F. Unfortunately I don't play Sea of Thieves on PC so I can't check that to confirm for you.
