I can't download minecraft

It is a known issue and the developer is working to fix these bugs with the new launcher. They also recommend installing the launcher on your primary hard drive, maybe that will solve your problem.

I use Win10 operaing system.



I uninstalled minecraft launcher.



As you suggested I downloaded "minecraft launcher for Win 7/8".



At present I still can't play "minecraft java demo version". I can't launch "minecraft bedroch version". There appears notification that bedrock version is incompatible with launcher

I can't update my Minecraft Xbox and I just got it today. It downloads then once it's done it goes back to the download screen.

Welcome to the Xbox Community Forum. Thank you for sharing your concern with us today and we hope that all is well. I had someone with this issue a few days ago and my below suggestions worked for them.

First, we recommend signing out of the Minecraft Launcher and then back in to see if the issue is resolved.

Second, while you are on the “Minecraft for Windows” page in the launcher, select “Installations” from the top ribbon to ensure that the version of Minecraft you would like to play is installed on your computer.

If “Minecraft for Windows” is installed to your computer, you do not need to open the Minecraft Launcher to use it. Please try launching the game through your desktop or start menu.

If you are still having issues with launching Minecraft for Windows (Minecraft: Bedrock Edition), we recommend that you contact Mojang Support and submit a support request.

I did get it on a different account. I Have a different account for my Xbox and I am wondering if there is a way to log in with my Xbox account with the game being on a different Microsoft account.
