I can't download free games,yet I'm a gold member

I was wrongfully banned without proof for apparently Ip booting somebody, they just took his word banned my old account and moved on with their lives. That's not why I'm posting to the forums though... I was wondering if that ban could effect me downloading
free games on a new account. please post back on this I was probably one of the most loyal xbox customers on xbox live having 8 years under the belt of that account being a good member then getting banned due to the false word of somebody who couldn't take
a loss. I had out easily a thousand + dollars into that account over an eight year period so if you'll please answer my question so that I may het started. Thanks , Prodigy

Xbox Live Gold not showing up?

Yeah I'm gold member, I can play online games and parties and download the games with gold but it says I'm silver/free

Xbox Live Membership not working.

Hello I'm trying to download a demo( Max Anarchy) that is for gold members only. I used a 2 day gold code yet it still says I'm a free member and it won't let me download the demo. The demo also only appears on the website and not the dashboard. Some assistance?

Sorry but once an account has been banned it cannot be reinstated. If you would like to know more about the reasons you can post in the suspensions forums.

As for downloading free games can you give a little more information as to what actually happens when you attempt to download?

I highly doubt that sir. But thanks for the input. Okay I got the game downloaded but I think it's some sort of glitch or something.. It's still has the option for me to buy gold yet I just downloaded a free game ..?

I'm not stupid I'm not on a trial if you read the details I said I have gold and now all I want to know is where the prompt to download the Xbox One games on the website should be and that still hasn't been answered.Here is more info,when I go to the page
with the free game it says something like "As a free gold member you can enjoy this game free etc." and yet no download button anywhere on the page.

Those games aren't available for free yet. I think that is in July but I'm not 100% sure on the timing.

Fable 3 is currently available to gold members for free. If you have difficulty downloading it, change the payment type to points.

I think you don't understand... I'm talking about the Games With Gold program... the one that gives 2 FREE (not "free") games every month... which includes:

- Assassin's Creed 2

- Crackdown

- Halo 3

- Rainbow Six

- Defense Grid

These games have been announced to be FREE for a period of time, FREE for EVERY gold member on Xbox Live, the thing is this FREE games have region locks, so a lot of people in some countries can't download them, so they gain nothing from the Games With Gold
program... I'm not " trying to get "free" Games with an attempt to By-Pass Region Settings" that's exactly why I'm explaining that I can't download them, and I assure you I'm not the only one who can't... I could use a VPN, but the point is, if they removed
the lock on Dead Rising 2 and Crackdown, why didn't they remove it too on the following games
