I can't download a game in license transfer

Hello gamers.

I turned on the license transfer on my brother's profile and on my profile too on Friday.

I didn't have time and i wanted to download 2 games with license transfer from my brother's profile.

But i go to a game(Gears Of War:Judgement and others) and it wants to purchase the game.

What is the problem,

Ive initiated a license transfer by mistake and wanted to know, what happens now? Nothing, unless I re-download? Also, I wanted to confirm that you can't transfer licenses for specific DLC's only?

same thing and its not right it just happens to people that don't deserve it and I need my profile back.

 

License transfers will only transfer licenses between consoles, not between accounts. Have your brother try downloading the game on his account and then see if you can access it.

Can You transfer a content license from one Xbox 360 console to another?

Yes, you can transfer content licenses to a different Xbox 360 console. However, you can only transfer a license once every four months.

If you purchased a new console or had your console repaired, use the license transfer option on your new console. Here’s how:

On your new console, sign in to Xbox Live using the gamertag that you used to purchase the content.

It is against the ToU and CoC of the Live service to transfer, lend or sell your gamertag or any digital content to other people.

No, it isn't in this case. While Microsoft doesn't mention the License Transfer feature in their Usage Rules agreement, they're using it on consoles they own and within their own household. No rules are being violated here.

Your brother would need to re-download the game(s) in question by going into his Download History, and then you will be able to access the games on your console.
