I can't download a digital game I own, why is that?

The error code "0x803F8007" you encountering usually means you no longer own the content or no longer have permission to access the content. For example, you can’t access a game because you received a refund for it, or your game pre-order was canceled.

The solution for this error is to check your Microsoft account and see if the content was refunded, canceled or purchased.

1. Sign in to your account. Scroll down until you see the game or game add-on you purchased.
   
2. If the order status is Canceled or Refunded, you no longer own the game or game add-on, and you won’t be able to start or play it. You can re-purchase the content if you still want to own it.
   
3. If you don’t see the game or game add-on in your order history, search for it in Microsoft Store. If you see an option to Buy a Copy on the product description page, this means you no longer have access to the content, and you’ll need to purchase it again if you want to use it.

Can you please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders then locate your order for the game? Once we have confirmed that you have the order for the game you can simply sign out and sign back in on Microsoft Store App.

Also, can you remember if you were able to obtain the game through games with gold? I also have the game and I was able to obtain it through games with gold which means that to access it I need to have an Xbox Live Gold subscription and I am on Xbox console.

I did get it through games with gold at first, but bought it to be my own afterwards (when my gold subscription ran out). But I can't find the game in my order history, nor can I find it in the "Returned/Refunded" section

If the digital games in question were free games with gold you need gold membership to play them again
