i cant download a 13 gig update

bundling an update with 2 dlc's isn't a good idea.i have no intention of buying them,and I can no longer play my game because I cant afford the 40$ my ip will charge me in overages this month to download it. thanks for nuthin,i wonder what ill get in trade
in value.

Is there anyway of downloading the halo update without having the game

Nope I mean Wednesday it took something stupid like 12-13 hours to download 7 gig update the other day as there's something wrong with our internet lol and as I heard this is a 20 gig update god knows how long it will tale

 

Thoughts on update?

I like it, and cant wait for the external HDD update. After I download TF, I will be down to 50 gig remaining.

 

$20 to $22 minimum according to Gamestop website. More with PowerUp Rewards Membership. However, what kind of internet do you have where you get charged overage fees?

 

So what was this update anyway? I guess mine had no problems, but I do not see anything different. I really do not remember it updating.

 

I put in my Dead Rising 3 disc since before Christmas time and My Xbox didn't prompt for any updates. Nor does it show downloading/installing from "My Games and Apps."

 

if you have auto updates on it will update the game when you are in low power stand by mode if im not mistaken

ya I was close to my cap this month,that 13 gig download cost me 53$.when I turned on autoupdate,I didn't think anything so large would slip in there.

this is a major problem for me.only 90 gigs a month,im not wasting such a large part of it on one game,for dlc I have no intention of buying.

id say Microsoft lost not only a customer,but another in the person that buys my xbox and all dem games I got at launch.

If you are connected to Live when you start the game and you dont get prompted to download it then you already have it.

[/quote]Only a small part of that 13gigs was for the DLC as the download didnt take up much space when finished. Most of it has overwritten the main game files.



Although I agree the updates are massive compared to the 360 updates and I can fully understand why people on metred connections are annoyed.
