i can't connect to xbox live

hello ,

my problem is that i turned off my xbox in the middle of an online game and now i can't connect to xbox live with my modem

but when i shared the 3g connection with my phone i connected normaly to the xbox live but with the modem it doesn't work

i tried the proposed solutions and it still doesn't work

please help me guys.

I can't connect to Xbox Live!

I am having trouble connecting as well, but my situation is a bit different. My cable Internet connection had been dropping 8 - 10 times a day. So we swapped out the cable modem, no more dropping, but now my 360 won't connect to the internet.

Specs:

Cisco / Linksys WRT120 Wireless N router

Cisco SPC 3010 Cable modem

Charter Internet - 15Meg package

The only thing changed was the cable modem.

Things tried: Everything on the Xbox 360 support help, reset router to factory defaults and reconfigured, Manual and automatic setting for both IP and DNS settings.

The 360 will connect to the network and all computers on the network, it will run the Xbox live test, connect to the network then fail when attempting to connect to the Internet.

I even had Charter come test the modem. They found spikes in the signal to the modem, and they fixed that, but no luck changing my no connect issue.

HELP!!!!

Hi there, it appears there is a current alert of services such as social and gaming, you may have to wait until this is cleared:
support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status

Though what error code or message are you seeing and what solution did you try?

 

Im having a similar issue, i have a 360 and a satellite connection. Wont let me connect to xbox live, nothing wrong with network or internet, cleared the cache 3 times, the whole shabang, even deleted my profile to download it again and now i cant and my
whole profile is gone. Already contacted live support and they dont even know whats wrong, the only thing they could think of was the service alert, even though its only for xbox one. Im really concerned. Is anyone eltse on 360 having this issue???

I'm having constant problems connecting to Xbox Live, and have been for about two weeks. I've tried just about everything. So far, I've:

* reconfigured my router so that the Xbox has a static IP adrdress,

* set up port forwarding and each port is 'allowed' to receive inbound services,

* UPnP and NAT are both enabled,

* deleted and downloaded my profile

* deleted two corrupt files

* cleared the system cache

* restored the Xbox network settings to default

* connected thr Xbox directly yo the router (don't have a modem)

and still it only occasionally connects.

The network test works most of the time, but playing CoD Black Ops II, or Advanced Warfare will hang when I first get fragged. Destiny won't work at all.

I'm now at my wits end trying to find a solution. Help!
