I can't connect to XBL through X360 guide.

Hello, I have a very specific problem. When I play X360 games on XBO I cannot connect to XBL through X360 guide, play multiplayer modes through internet and download cloud saves despite being connected to XBL through XBO interface. None of my friends experience
this issue. Also, I had no problems with connecting to XBL while playing X360 games from Rare Replay... until now. Is there anything I can do about it? Is this issue related to inclusion of a new Xbox interface?

Connecting to XBL and DNS issues

I can't connect to XBL. It connected fine last night. I have connected directly through the modem and it connects to the internet but won't connect to XBL. When testing the connection through the xbox one it tells me "it's all good" and that I'm connected
to the internet but it won't connect to XBL. Trouble shooting through the support forums and through the xbox one utility resolves nothing. Also attempting to connect through my wired router gives me the "DNS isn't resolving xbox server names" error. Any help
would be appreciated.

 

Same here was working with preview and rare now won't connect to anything

 

I had the same issue but resolved it by downloading my profile via X360 guide and using an app password instead of your actual one. If you've turned on two-step verification turns out you'll need to do this.

I have solved my issue I just opened the 360 dashboard via a bc game and clicked download profile.

You have to sign out if you are signed in offline.

It downloaded my profile again and connected straight away everything is working now sync etc.

So a simple redownload of your profile may solve your issue.

@ sawtootheagle Nah buddy through the 360 dash on the xbox one when you load a backwards compatible game open the 360 dash via that
